Installation - Trophy Docs

You need a Trophy account to use the Trophy Account MCP Server.

The Trophy Account MCP Server is a remote HTTP MCP server. Point your client at the URL below, complete OAuth sign-in with your Trophy account when prompted, and your agent can start using the tools.

Server URL

https://mcp.trophy.so/mcp

No API keys are required. Authentication uses OAuth: your MCP client opens a browser so you can sign in to Trophy and authorize access for the organization you select.

Install in Your Client

Name this server clearly (for example Trophy Account) so it does not collide with the Docs MCP Server.

Open Claude Connectors.
Select Add > Add custom connector.
Add:
- Name: Trophy Account
- URL: https://mcp.trophy.so/mcp
Complete the OAuth login when prompted and select your Trophy organization.
In chat, use the plus button to enable the Trophy Account connector or type ‘Using the Trophy Account MCP Server…’.

Add the remote server:

On first use, Claude Code opens a browser window to complete OAuth login. Sign in to Trophy, select your organization, and authorize access.Verify it appears in your list:

Open MCP settings and add this to your mcp.json:

Reload Cursor if needed, then complete the OAuth login when prompted.

Custom MCP apps require a paid ChatGPT plan with Developer mode enabled.

In ChatGPT, open Settings → Security and login and turn on Developer mode.
In a chat, open the plus menu and create a developer-mode app for your remote MCP server.
Add:
- Name: Trophy Account
- URL: https://mcp.trophy.so/mcp
- Authentication: OAuth
Complete the OAuth login when prompted. Sign in to Trophy and select your organization.
In chat, choose Developer mode from the plus menu and select the Trophy Account app so ChatGPT can call its tools.

Create or update .vscode/mcp.json in your workspace:

Reload VS Code, enable the server, and complete the OAuth login when prompted.

Any MCP client that supports remote HTTP servers and OAuth can connect.Use:

Transport: HTTP (streamable HTTP)
URL: https://mcp.trophy.so/mcp
Name: Trophy Account (or any label you prefer)
Auth: OAuth (browser login to your Trophy account; no headers or API key)

After adding the server, complete the OAuth flow and enable the server in the client UI if required.

Verify the Connection

Ask your agent something that requires a live account call, for example:

List the metrics in my Trophy account.

If authentication succeeded, you should get metrics from your organization. If you get an auth or unauthorized error, reconnect the server and complete the OAuth login again, making sure you select the correct Trophy organization.
